How do I connect to Outlook online or off campus?
You can access your Outlook mailbox online by connecting to our and logging in with your normal QMU email address and password.

QMU IT has made it easier than ever for you to reset your password if you ever forget it or find yourself locked out of your account. We need you to do one little thing before you can use this feature....

Requirements for your password are as follows:
- Minimum length of 10 characters (12 characters recommended)
- Must not include your username or parts of your full name
- Must contain characters from three of the following categories
- Uppercase characters (A through Z)
- Lowercase characters (a through z)
- Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
Any new password must differ from the previous five passwords.
Please create a strong password.
QMU computer terminals across campus are linked to a battery of multi-function print devices (MFDs). Each of these devices is designed to provide high quality colour printing, scanning and copying.
A charge is applicable for printing and copying. Black and white printing is priced at £0.05 for A4 single-sided pages and £0.10 for A4 double-sided pages, while A3 prints cost £0.08 for single-sided and £0.16 for double-sided pages. Colour printing is priced at £0.14 for A4 single-sided pages and £0.28 for A4 double-sided pages, with A3 colour pages costing £0.22 for single-sided and £0.44 for double-sided prints.
Bulk printing (more than 50 pages) should be arranged via Service Graphics.
New students are awarded credit towards the cost of their printing during enrolment at QMU. Further credit can be uploaded using all major credit cards and via PayPal and WorldPay. Please note that no refunds are permitted so care should be taken when adding credit, particularly near the end of each academic year. Any print credit may only be used when printing via the MFD devices and cannot be used to purchase print services from Service Graphics.
Print tasks which require binding or laminating services should also be requested via Service Graphics.
NEW WEB PRINT OPTION NOW AVAILABLE
No need to logon to a thin client or remote desktop session to simply print a document. Students can now print documents from any device by using the new option.
(Please note - only works on-campus while connected to the EDUROAM WiFi network, may be slower at peak times and can only print basic A4).
How do I connect to the Wi-Fi network on campus?
Students & Staff
All QMU students, staff and visitors from participating institutions should use the eduroam network.
 enables users from participating institutions to use their usual network login credentials to access the eduroam network.
Please note that in order to connect to eduroam you need to have an existing online connection. You can do this by using your own 3G/4G connection or by connecting to QMU_Guest first. is a quick and easy download which will allow you to quickly setup your device to use eduroam (please note: your username is your QMU email address)
Visitors
The QMU_Guest network is available for all guests, visitors and conference attendees on campus.
Simply open your device's Wi-Fi settings and connect to the QMU_Guest network. Once connected, some devices will automatically detect the logon page and display it for you otherwise use your web browser to visit any non HTTPS website (e.g. http://www.independent.co.uk/). You will be prompted to enter an email address and agree to our terms of service.
How do I log in remotely?Â
You can log in remotely by using our remote desktop application and logging in with your normal QMU username and password.
